Hot Pot

今日は、お鍋にしました。鶏団子、牛しゃぶ肉、レタス、長ネギ、しめじ、豆腐、にんじん。水菜は見つからずでした。タレは、タヒニという中近東で使うごまペーストに市販のゴマだれ、にんにく、しょうが、醤油、お砂糖、お酢、赤い柚子胡椒、水を混ぜました。薬味は青ネギとシャンツァイ。ビールなし(笑)。

We had a Japanese Hot Pot today.  Minced chicken balls, beef shabu shabu meat, lettuce, Japanese leek, Shimeji, tofu, carrot.  I couldn’t find Mizuna today.  The sauce is a mixture of Tahini, Japanese sesame shabu shabu sauce (from a bottle), garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, red yuzu kosho & water.  We added finely chopped green onions and coriander leaves to the sauce, too.  Good healthy dinner again – and no beer!
