Lunch at Din Tai Fong

今日は久しぶりに、夫のお昼休みに一緒にランチをしました。シンガポールに来た頃、日本や香港と違って夫の事務所が家からすぐ近くなので時々一緒にランチをしていましたが、だんだん出かけるのが億劫になり。。。数ヶ月後に会社の事務所が少し遠くに移動するので、久しぶりに。

と言っても、鼎泰豊でさくっと、です。

少し前にお友達といただいた品が美味しかったので、ほぼ同じものをオーダー。野菜の前菜、スパイシーソースの麺、写真を撮り忘れていますが定番の小籠包、野菜とポークの揚げワンタン、そしてデザートにゴマ入りの包。ワンタンはあまり好みではなかったですが、他は美味しかったです。

When we moved to Singapore, we were happy that my husband’s office was so close from home unlike in Japan or in Hong Kong, so we took the advantage and had lunch together occasionally at lunch time.  However, as I started having lunches often with my friends, we sort of stopped doing that.  His office will be moving in the next few months, so I thought we should make the best of it while it’s still close.  So we had a quick lunch in Din Tai Fong in Wisma at his lunch time.

We had vegetable salad, steamed pork dumplings (I forgot to take a photo), noodles with spicy sauce, crispy pork & vegetable wanton and sweet black sesame buns.  I wasn’t very keen on the wanton but enjoyed the rest.  S$40 for 2!
