香港に住んでいた頃、大好きだったお花屋さんが２店ありました。１つは、シティースーパーという日系のものを置いてあるスーパーのお花屋さん。とても素敵なお花が置かれていたので、お花を買うときはほとんどいつもシティースーパーのお花屋さんで買っていました。もう１つは、アルマーニのお花屋さん。こちらでは購入したことはなかったのですが、当時他でみたことがなかったスタイリッシュな花束がディスプレーされていたので、近くを通ると必ず見に寄ったものでした。今回行ったときも健在で嬉しかったです。

When we lived in Hong Kong, there were 2 flower shops I loved.  One was the flower shop in City Super, where they had a lot of beautiful and some not so common flowers.  That’s where I used to buy flowers mostly.  Another one is Armani Fiori in the Landmark.  When it first opened in Hong Kong, I’d never seen this style of arrangement and I totally fell in love.  I used to make sure to stop at their shop to see their display whenever I was nearby.  I was happy on this trip to see they were still there.

香港で通っていたフラワーアレンジメントの先生から「アルマーニ風」の花束の作り方を教えていただいて、当時はよく作っていました。シンプルででスタイリッシュで好きなスタイルです。

When I lived in Hong Kong I was taking flower arrangement classes and the teacher showed us how to make one of “Armani style” bouquets and I used to make it often.  I still love this simple yet stylish type of arrangement.
