Happy Valentine’s Day!!

今日はバレンタインデーですね。我が家は、カードの交換だけで終わってしまいましたが、夕食は少しはバレンタインデーらしく、と思い、夫が好きなチーズフォンデュー、デザートにチョコレートフォンデュー。シャンパンも開けました。

All we did was exchanging cards but we had Cheese Fondue and Chocolate Fondue to make it a little more special than every day.

チーズフォンデューは代わり映えしない内容で、フォンデューの他には生ハム、チョリソ、茹でたジャガイモ、茹でた人参、たっぷりのサラダ（今日はリンゴ入り）。

Cheese Fondue is the same as usual, with Parma Ham, Chorizo, boiled potatoes & carrots, a large salad (with apple today).  We also opened a bottle of Champagne.

チョコレートフォンデューはすごく適当に、ミルクに少しクリームをませたところにカカオたっぷりのベイキング用のチョコレートボタンを入れて２０秒ずつくらい電子レンジで温めては混ぜてを繰り返して溶かしました。日本の苺にとろとろのチョコレートをつけていただきました。

I just poured some milk and a little cream in this small round pot, dropped some buttons  of good baking chocolate and microwaved a few times stirring in between to let the chocolate melt.  We had it with strawberries from Japan – delicious.

 

 

 

この後、今日いらした方にいただいた日本のチョコレートトリュフもいただいて、ご馳走さま！

We also had some chocolate truffles from Japan that one of my friends gave me today.
