今日は、マークス&スペンサーズでクリスマスに食べるクリスマスプディングやクリスマスケーキやスナック類などを買いに行くことにしたので、ウィーロックのNam Namでさくっとランチをしました。

We wanted to buy sweets and snacks we eat at Christmas at Marks & Spencers today – like Christmas pudding, Christmas cake, nuts and other snacks – so we went to Nam Nam in Wheelock for lunch.

サクサクの揚げ春巻き。

I love the texture of these deep-fried Vietnamese spring rolls.

スパイシーなポークミンチヌードル。

Spicy mince pork noodles.

ベジタリアンのバーンミー。これは、あまり美味しくなかったです。ピクルスの味付けがこれまでより薄かったような気がしたのは気のせい？

Vegetarian Sandwich.  We didn’t like this very much.  I thought the pickes didn’t have strong flavour as usual today.

お友達情報によると、ショーセンターにテイクアウト専門店がオープンしたとか。検索して見たところ、他のお店にはないバーンミーもあるようです。お買い物に出て買って帰るのもありですね。

A friend told me that they have a new branch, which is only for take out –  at the Shaw Centre – so I searched online and found out that they have some sandwiches that they don’t have in other outlets.  Maybe I should buy some after shopping to take home.
