よく降りますね〜。夫は週２回会社から走って帰ってくるのですが、昨日走れなかったので今日走るつもりで張り切っていたのに、また走れなくてがっかりしています。

It’s been raining so much!  Not the usual heavy but short rain, but steady and long rain.  My husband runs twice a week from the office to home but he wasn’t able to yesterday because of the rain.  He was going to run today instead but he wasn’t able to again.

今日は、お友達とランチをご一緒して３、４週間分のキャッチアップをしました。少し前に行って内容が良いと思った、フォーシーズンのビュッフェ。前菜だけのものにしました。

I had lunch with a friend to catch up with her as I hadn’t seen her for 3 or 4 weeks. We went to Four Seasons buffet as I thought it was quite nice last time when I was there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

デザートの写真を撮り忘れましたが、フィナンシェケーキ、マドレーヌ、ブレッド&バタープディングを取りました。

I forgot to take a photo of the desserts I had but I took a slice of Financier cake, a madeleine and a little Bread & Butter Pudding.

前回とはだいぶん内容が変わっているような気がします。前回の方が好みのものがあった気がしますが、前回はクリスマスだったのでデコレーションも華やかだったせいかもしれません。内容が変わるのは飽きなくて有り難い。ガス入りのお水をシェアーして５６．５０ドルでした。

It seems quite different from last time, and I think I liked the last time better, but maybe it’s because it was decorated more for Christmas then.  It’s good that they change, though, as you don’t get tired of it.  We shared a bottle of sparkling water and the bill was S$56.50 per person.

長くシンガポールにいらっしゃるお友達ですが、あと１、２ヶ月で本帰国されてしまうので、こうしてランチをご一緒していただけるのもあと何回かのことだと思うと寂しい限りです。

She has been living in Singapore for many many years but she will be back to Japan for good in a month or two, I wonder how many more times we can get together. I already miss her!
