夫は昨日から出張中。金曜日に戻ってきて、土曜日から旅行です。気忙しい。。。

My husband is away since yesterday, he will be back on Friday then we are off to India early on Saturday.

 

今日は、お友達お２人とランチをご一緒しました。最近になってお友達のご紹介でお知り合いになったお２人ですが、香港から数ヶ月前に引っ越してらした方がまだタングリンモールに行ったことがないとのことだったので、タングリンモールにあるタイ料理に行きました。とても空いていることが多くて時々心配になるのですが、今日は結構テーブルが埋まっていました。

I had lunch with 2 friends, whom I was introduced to recently.  One of them moved to Singapore just a few months ago and hadn’t been to Tanglin Mall so we went to the Thai restaurant “Patara” there.  It’s often very quiet but many tables were occupied today.

ここでいつもオーダーするオリーブライスと空芯菜、他にチキンのラーブとグリーンチキンカレーと少しご飯が足りなかったのでジャスミンライスを１つ。カレーが少し余っていましたが、だいたい丁度良い量のオーダーでした。

We ordered 4 items.  Olive rice, Stir-fried morning glory – I always order these 2 items -, Mince chicken salad and Green chicken curry.  We needed a little more rice so ordered 1 jasmine rice.  There was a little curry left but it was just about the right amount of order I think.

 

 

 

 

 

それぞれに飲み物をオーダーし、１人４６ドルほどずつでした。いつもの味で美味しかったです。あれこれおしゃべりも弾み、３時にお店の人に追い出されてしまいました（笑）。とても楽しかったです。

We also ordered a drink each and the bill was about S$46 per person.  It was as good as always.  We enjoyed chatting so much that the staff had to ask us to leave at 3.00pm!
