ジョドプール２日目のランチは、「Stepwell Cafe」 というカフェに予約を入れていました。事情により他のレストランで食事をしたのですが（それについてはまた後で）、そこに行き着くにはマーケットを通って狭い城壁の門を通り抜けなくてはいけなくて、狭い上に交通量も多いのでドキドキしました。

We had a reservation at “Stepwell Cafe” for lunch (although we ended up having lunch at a different restaurant, I’ll write about it later) and it was near the market in the middle of the city, to which you have to drive through a very narrow gate of the city wall, it was quite scary to be driven between so many cars, motorbikes, tuktuk in such a narrow area.

インドでは多分みなさん路上マーケットや街のマーケットを覗かれるのだと思うのですが、わたしも夫もあまり興味がないので車の中から見れば満足、という感じです。長時間かけて値段交渉するシステムも苦手ですし、特に買いたいものもないのですよね。ですので、インド旅行の間にマーケットを覗いたのはお料理教室で行ったときだけでした。なので、ここでアップするのも全部車の中からの写真です。（忘れていました、プシュカルで市場を歩きました。）

I imagine most people would like to see the street markets and other markets in India but we weren’t very interested.  We don’t enjoy negotiating prices and they don’t have anything much that we want to buy anyway.  The only time we did walk in a market was in Delhi as a part of the cooking class we took.  So these photos here were all taken from a car window while we were driving thorough the market.  (I’d forgotten but we did walk in the market in Pushkar.)

マーケットそのものは特に面白いと思わないのですが、集まっている女性たちの着ているものがいろいろで、見ていて飽きません。

街をぶらぶら歩いて青い家を撮りたかったのに、時間がなくできませんでした、残念。
