Tray Baked Pork Chop

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、Jamie Oliver の「ポークチョップのトレイ焼き」でした。ポークチョップ、ポテト、パースニップ、洋ナシ、レモンをレモン汁やニンニクでやローズマリーでマリネしてトレイに入れてオーブンで焼く、というもの。今日は、芽キャベツも加えて。

Tonight’s dinner my husband cooked was Jamie Oliver’s “Tray-Baked Pork Chop”.  He marinaded pork, potato, parsnip, pear, Brussels sprout & lemon in lemon juice, garlic, rosemary etc and baked them all on a tray in the oven.  Brussels sprout was his addition.

ポークチョップ、今日は「K&J」でネックを厚くスライスしたものを使ってみたところ柔らかくおいしかったです。ただ、結構脂身が多いので(脂っこくは感じませんでしたが)食べきれず、残りは明日のランチのサンドイッチに使う予定です。

We bought pork neck thickly sliced instead of usual pork chop, which was very tender and nice.  Maybe it was a large piece or maybe because it has quite a lot of fat (although it didn’t taste specially fatty) we weren’t able to finish it so we are planning to use the left-over for sandwiches tomorrow for lunch.

ちょっと酸っぱいブレッドソースが、また美味しい!

I love this bread sauce, which is a little tart.
