昨日のディナーは、Lyndhurst の街のパブ「Waterloo Arms」に行きました。夫は、ステーキ&エールパイ、わたしはビーンズとサツマイモのバーガー。パイはとても美味しかったそうです(でも、少し塩辛いとも言っていました。バーガー引っ越し写真を撮り忘れたようですが、量が多すぎて半分も食べられず、そしてバーガーはパン粉をつけて揚げてあったのでわたしにはヘビーでした。雰囲気はパブらしくて良かったですし、ビールも美味しかったです。

We went to a pub, “The Waterloo Arms” for dinner. My husband had Steak & Ale Pie and I had Beans & Sweet potato Burger. My husband said the pie was very good although a little too salty. My burger (I seem to have forgotten to take a photo) came in a huge portion, I couldn’t even finish a half. The burger tasted OK but it was breaded and deep fried so quite heavy. The interior of the place was nice and pubby.
