Left-Over Lunch


Aa little bit of the sauce from last night’s pasta was left over.  It wasn’t enough for a meal so I used it on top of toasted bread and added some pizza cheese and grilled it to make something like Croque Monsier.  It was quite good.


The bread was what we baked with our bread machine. We’ve been baking bread every other day or so recently.  I’m glad that we happen to have bought a bag of strong flour a little before we went away and we bought one more bag after we got back because flour and yeast disappeared from supermarkets very quickly, it looks like many more people bake bread at home than I thought.
