今日から２月、今年もロックダウンのうちに１月過ぎました。早いような、そうでもないような。。。
It’s February now! A month has gone in the lockdown this year. I’m not sure if it feels fast or slow…
チューリップもたくさんあるのですが、先日、ガソリンスタンドにある小さなウェイトローズに入った時に可愛い春のお花の花束があったので買ってしまいました。去年の今頃もよくスーパーで春のお花を買いました。基本的には暗い色のシックなお花が好みですが、最近はこんな可愛いのも好きです。特にイギリスの冬は暗いので、春のお花を飾ると癒されます。キッチンに置いているので、キッチンにはヒヤシンスの香りが漂っています。
I know we have a lot of tulips at home but when I went in a little Waitrose at a petrol station the other day to pick up something I saw cute spring flowers and couldn’t help getting one bunch. I used to buy such flowers in supermarkets often around this time last year. Although I tend to love the dark chic flowers, these days I quite like bright colour ones like these. As the winter in England is very dark, having spring flowers at home lifts your sprint up. We have these in the kitchen now so the kitchen is filled with spring fragrance from the hyacinths.
ちなみに、夫が秋の終わりにお庭に春の球根をたくさん植えてくれたのですが、ちょこちょこ芽が出ています、咲くのがとても楽しみです！
My husband planted lots of spring flower bulbs at the end of autumn and I can see a lot of small shoots coming out, I’m so looking forward to seeing them flower.
ヒヤシンスの香り大好きです！！！
いつも見えるところに置きたいけれど、寒いところがいいというので、買ってくると２階の洗面所に置いて。
花茎が伸びて成長する様子を眺めるのも楽しいし。
咲くと、階段を上る途中から香ってきて！
noodleさんのキッチンの香りが想像できます。
いいな〜。
ご主人様が植えてくださったのも楽しみですね！

ヒヤシンス、良い香りではあるのですけど
３本あると香りが強過ぎました（笑）、
自分から遠くに置かないとちょっと気持ち悪くなります（笑）。
暖かところに置くと多分すぐに咲いてしまいますよね。
お庭にはスノードロップ、ヒヤシンス、いろいろなチューリップが植っていますが
初めてのことでちゃんと咲くかどうか。
