Here are the photos I took today walking in town.

5月、6月のUKはどこもお花がいっぱい咲いていてとっても綺麗なので、旅行におすすめの季節です。ただ、お天気はいつが良いとは言えず、今回も冬のように寒い可能性も十分にあったので冬服も持って来ました。ラッキーなことに今のところ湖水地方もエジンバラも結構暖かく、今日はお天気が良かったので日向を歩くと暑いくらいでした。それでも日陰は寒いので、ジャケットは必要。というか、日本と違って湿度は低いのでむしろ何か羽織っている方が暑さも凌げます。

I love the UK in May and June as the flowers are looking beautiful everywhere. However, it doesn’t mean the weather will be good and it can be cold specially in Lake District and Scotland. There is always a possibility that it turns very cold so we did bring winter clothes as well, but so far we’ve been lucky to have relatively warm weather in Lake District and also here in Edinburgh. It was quite sunny today so it felt hot in the sun, but still quite cool in the shade, so you need a jacket or something. In fact, it feels cooler with a jacket on in the sun because a layer of something will protect you from the sun as the humidity is low here unlike in Japan when it’s hot.
