ランチの後は、エジンバラ城を見学しました。大昔、多分結婚して間もない頃に一度見学しているらしいですが（わたしは覚えていないのですが）、久しぶりに。ランチをしたレストランからえっちらおっちらと結構急な坂道を15分程度上ったところにあります。

After lunch, we went to Edinburgh Castle. My husband tells me that we’d been there many years ago, probably soon after we got married (but I don’t remember). It’s on top of a quite steep hill, about 15 minutes from Dishoom.

事前にネットで入場のチケットを予約して（お友達にそうしないとすごく並ぶと言われましたが、並んでいませんでした、まだ観光客はそれほど戻ってきていないのだろうと思います）、チケットをピックアップして入ります。上からの景色も綺麗。写真は撮れないのですが、クラウン・ルームではスコットランドのクラウンジュエル（王家の象徴）である宝冠、剣、王笏(君主が持つ装飾的な杖)と「スクームの石」が展示されています。

My husband’s friend had advised us to book tickets online in advance because there are always long queues and we did so, but we didn’t see any queue today, I guess the tourists aren’t back yet although we did see quite a lot of visitors. The view from the castle was pretty. We also went in the Crown Room, where Crown Jewels and the Stone of Scone (no photos are allowed).
