昨日は、お昼前にホテルを出て、ランチをした後、街歩きをしました。途中、ヨーク・ミンスター（ヨーク大聖堂）に入ったり、ヨーク博物館にも入ったので、珍らしく1万歩以上歩きました。写真の数が多くなりすぎるので、ヨーク・ミンスターの写真は別にアップしようと思います。
Yesterday, we left our hotel around 11:00am, walked in the town of York, had lunch, then continued to walk in the town. We went into York Minster and also the York Castle Museum so we walked more than 10,000 steps in total, which we don’t often do. As there are so many photos, I will upload the photos of York Minster in a separate post.
ヨークの街にはたくさんの古い歪んだ建物が残っていて、歩いていてとても楽しいです。特にシャンブルズという通りが素敵なのですが、ハリー・ポッタの映画が撮影されたことで観光客が増えて、ところどころに長蛇の列が出来ていて、細い通りが結構混み合ってしまっているのが残念でした。
There are many old crooked buildings left in York so it’s fun to walk around. Shambles is particularly charming, but it is now very busy and there are a couple of long queues for some shops because some scenes in the first Harry Potter film were shot here, it somehow seems to spoil the lovely old street.

We had a little rest with tea and cake here at the Merchant Adventurers Hall.
