今日の夕食は、チキンシュニッツェル（チキンのカツレツ）のサルサとポテト添えでした。いついただいても美味しいですが、特に夏に食べたくなる一品です。レシピは、私と夫と猫の幸せ生活のこちらのレシピです。今回はチキンの胸肉がとても小さかったので（開いて叩いて薄くしてあるのでそこそこの大きさになっていますが）、翌日のランチのお楽しみはなし、食べきってしまいました。カリカリのシュニッツェルにレモン汁をたっぷり絞っていただくのが好きです。

Today’s dinner was Chicken schnitzel (chicken cutlet) with Salsa & Potato.  This is also from this blog (Japanese only).  It’s always good but specially in the summer.   The chicken breast was very small (though looks large because I opened them up and bashed them so they are thinner) so no left-over for tomorrow’s lunch, which is something we usually look forward to.  It’s very crispy outside, tender inside.  I love having it with a good squeeze of lemon juice.

そして、こちらはグラスデザートのチーズケーキ。今日はズームによりフランス菓子教室に参加してさくらんぼのクラフティーとこのグラスデザートを作りました。明日お友達ご夫婦が夕食に来てくださるので、デザートはどちらも明日の夕食のデザートにするのですが、わたしはチーズケーキが苦手なので夫は今日１つ、明日１つ食べられるというわけです。すごく美味しい、毎日作って！と言っていました。比較的簡単に出来ますが、毎日というわけには行きません（笑）。明日はデザート２つは食べられないかもしれないので、食べられなければグラスデザートは持ち帰っていただこうと思ってこの器にしました。ちょっと口径が狭めで入れにくかったですがちょうど良い容量でした。

And this is the dessert my husband had – Glass Cheese Cake.  I took a Zoom lesson of French Baking and baked Cherry Clafouti and this glass dessert.  Our friends are coming for dinner tomorrow so we’ll be having these tomorrow with them but I don’t like cheesecake so my husband had one today and will get one tomorrow!  He loved it and asked if I would make it every day.  It is relatively easy to make but I don’t really think he should have it every day.  Our friends may not be able to have both desserts tomorrow after dinner, so I used these glasses so they can take them home if they are too full.  The diameter was a little smaller so it was a little hard to fill them but the capacity was about the right amount.
