Mont D’Or & Salad


We had the top half of our Mont D’Or a little while ago so we wanted to have the other half, so that was the main for today’s evening meal.



Here it is – Mont D’or with pistachio, pecan nuts and chilli jam on top, baked in the oven until it melts nicely.  We also had a little from other 3 kinds of cheese (on a plate near the vase in the photo above.




A large salad – tomato, onion, pear, grape (candy floss), pepper, rocket & salad leaves.  The dressing was lemon juice, honey, olive oil, salt & pepper.



So it was such a simple supper but we enjoyed it very much.  Cheese is filling and we had a large portion of salad and bread so it filled us up.
