今日の夕食は、借りているマンションで軽くいただくことにしました。以前買ってまだ残っていた無花果と生ハム、コープで買っていたサラダ菜とトマトとイカリで買ったアボカドのサラダ、今日、西宮ガーデンズの阪急デパートの地下で買った3種類のチーズ、今朝近くのパン屋さんで買ったバゲットとベーコンエピ。

We had a supper at the apartment today. Figs & Parma Ham that we bought some time ago, a salad made with salad leaves, tomato from the Coop and avocado from Ikari supermarket , plus 3 cheese we bought at Hankyu Department Store in Nishonomiya Gardens and a baguette and bacon Pain d’Epi.

外食を度々していると言っても今のところ軽めの食事が多いですし、コンビニやパン屋さんで買ったサンドイッチやお惣菜パンなども間に入れているのでそれほど家のご飯が恋しいというほどではないのですが、それでもこういうシンプルな食事をするとホッとします。

Even though we’ve been eating out a lot, so far most of the meals we’ve had are on the light side and we’ve also been having things like sandwiches from bakeries and convenience stores so we aren’t missing home cooked food so badly, but it is nice have something so simple at home,

アボカドも無花果もパンもとても美味しかったです。

Avocado and figs were delicious, so was the bread.

チーズは3種類買いました。思っていたほど種類がなくて（以前行った時はもっとあったと思いましたが）ブリー、スモークしたカマンベール、スティルトン。どれも美味しかったです。

We bought 3 cheeses from the Hankyu Department Store in Nishinomiya. I’m sure there were better selections in the past, but today the choices were very limited. We bought French Brie, a smoked Camembert and some Stilton – all very good.

ちなみに、阪急デパートではこの3種類のチーズと生ハムとトアロードデリカテッセンの細いソーセージ（6本入りかな？）とヤクルトを買っただけですが、5300円でした。分かってはいましたが、日本では外食はとてもお安いですがこういうものはとてもお高い。

We bought these 3 cheeses, Parma Ham, a pack of sausages from Tor Road Delicatessen and a pack of Yakult – and it was 5,300 yen (£29). I knew it was going to be expensive but these things (things from outside Japan) cost a lot here, although eating out is very inexpensive.
