今日は、チチェスターの美容院に行ってお昼頃に終わる予定だったので、チチェスターの Brasserie Blanc でしっかりランチをしました。アラカルトでメインを含めて２コース以上オーダーするとメインが半額というキャンペーン中で、大勢の方が食事をされていました。

I had an appointment at my hairdresser in Chichester which finished around lunch time, so we had a big lunch at Brasserie Blanc.  They are having a campaign where you get 50% off of the main dish if you order more than 2 courses including a main from their a la carte menu.

 

夫の前菜、エスカルゴ。

My husband’s starter – Escargot.

わたしの前菜、バゲットとディップ。ガーリックマヨが美味しい。

My starter – Baguette with dips.  I love their garlic mayonnaise.

わたしのメイン、ソーセージ＆マッシュ。前回食べた時、グレービーが塩辛かったので別添えにしていただきました。バゲットでお腹いっぱいになっていたので（笑）、ソーセージは１本だけ、マッシュは３分の１くらいいただきました。

My main – Toulouse Sausages with Mash.  When I had it last time the gravy was too salty so I asked them to serve the gravy on the side this time.  I was quite full from the baguette (hehe) so managed just one sausage and about 1/3 of the mash.

夫のメイン、バーガー。

My husband’s main – Beef Burger.

ルバーブのタルト（ポーチしたルバーブ、シャンティリクリーム添え）をシェア。美味しかったです。

To finish we shared a Rhubarb Tart (poached rhubarb & Chantilly Cream) – very nice.
