今日は、ポンペイの見学とピッツァを食べるエクスカーションに参加しました、有料のエクスカーションです。むかし、むかし、結婚して間のない頃（30数年前）に夫と3週間くらいイタリアを旅行したのですが、青の洞窟に行きたくてナポリからフェリーやボートを乗り継いで行ったのです。今と違ってもちろんインターネットはないので、地球の歩き方というガイドブックが頼りでした。今考えれば、よく、あんな旅行をしたものだと思います。そんなわけで、ナポリは2度目ですが、その時はナポリの観光はせずにカプリ島に行きました。ポンペイにも行きたかったのですが、時間がなくて諦めたので、今回はポンペイに行くエクスカーションを選びました。ポンペイについては、今回も写真の同期待ちなので、まずは、ランチをアップします。
We joined an excursion to visit Pompei and eat Pizza In Naples, it was a paid excursion. A long long time ago, more than 30 years ago, we wanted to go to The Blue Grotto in Capri so we took a ferry and a little boat to go there. Of course there was no internet then so all the information was from a guide book. I have to say I’m amazed the sorts of travelling we did in those days. Anyway, on that trip, we came to Naples just to go to Capri so we didn’t see Naples at all. We also wanted to go to Pompei then but we didn’t have enough time to do both Pompeii and Capri so we gave up Pompeii – so this time on this stopover in Naples we wanted to go to Pompeii. I’m still waiting for the photos to sync so I’m going to just blog the lunch we had afterwards – pizza in Naples.
連れて行っていただいたのは、このピッツェリア。２０１７年に世界大会でチャンピオンになった職人さんが焼いてくださったそうです。エクスカーションの説明には作っているところを見せていただけるとありましたが、人数が多く、みんなで見るのは無理があったので説明だけでした。
This is the pizzeria where we had our pizza. We were told that the pizza chef was the world champion in 2017. In the excursion explanation, we were supposed to see how he makes pizza, but there were so many of us that it wasn’t possible.
本物のナポリのピッツァ、マルゲリータ。ソースはフレッシュのトマトを潰したもの。周りはもっちもちでソースはとてもあっさりしていて、チーズは多すぎない。とても美味しかったです。
The real Napolitan pizza Margherita. The sauce is fresh chopped (very small) tomatoes. The outside is very nicely chewy, the sauce is very light and it was very good!
デザートは、ティラミス。これは、あまり美味しくなかったです。スポンジにコーヒーを染み込ませるハズですが、パサパサでした。
The dessert was Tiramisu, which wasn’t very good. The sponge was very dry instead of being moist with coffee.
レモンチェッロも少しいただきました。
And a little Lemoncello.
