昨日書きましたが、今日から3泊、デボン州にある Gidleigh Park Hotel で過ごします。日本は時差もありますし、クリスマス当日ではなくクリスマスイブにお祝いをする傾向なので、もう皆さん、すっかりお正月に向けての準備中でしょうか。イギリスは明日が本番、その後もしばらくクリスマスの続きです。
As I wrote yesterday, we are in Gidleigh Park Hotel for 3 nights from today to spend Christmas here. As there is a time difference and in general people in Japan celebrate Christmas on the Eve, I guess most people in Japan are already busy with preparation for the New Year. Here in England we celebrate it tomorrow and the Christmas feelings continue for a little longer.
日本はとても寒くなっているようですね。でも、お天気予報は晴れマークがいっぱいで羨ましい。こちらは比較的暖かい（12度前後、最低気温は7度前後）のですが相変わらず雨が多く、その上風が強くて、外を歩きたくないお天気です。
It looks like it’s very cold in Japan but I’m jealous that there are so many sun marks for the next one week of weather forecast. Here its temperature is mild but it’s still raining a lot and also very windy, not the weather you feel like walking outside.
そんなお天気の中、大好きなホテルの中でゆっくり過ごしたいと思います。
We will spend our time inside the lovely hotel enjoying eating and relaxing.
