Home Made Gnocchi With Italian Sausage Ragu
今日は土曜日、ということで夫が夕食を作ってくれる日なのですが、昨日の夜の時点で何を作ると言う話しが出なかったので、これはきっとまたパニクルと思ったので、わたしから提案することに。冷凍庫に早く使ってしまいたいイタリアンソーセージがあったので、それを使ってラグーを作ってもらい、わたしがリコッタを使ったニョッキを作りました。ニョッキはインスタで流れてきたレシピを使ったのですが、使ったリコッタチーズが緩めで、インスタのビデオを見るとかなり硬めのリコッタチーズを使っていたので粉の量が全然違いたくさん粉を足さなくてはいけなかったので、ふんわりというよりもっちり系のニョッキになりました。次回はリコッタチーズの水気をざるなどでしっかり切って使ってみたいと思います。ラグーはとても美味しかったです。 It’s a Saturday today so it’s the day my husband cooks dinner. 今日の夕食は、Hello Freshの「Thai Style Pork Meatball Sandwich with Chips, Pickled Carrot Salad and Sriracha Mayo（タイ風ポークのミートボールサンドイッチ、チップス、人参のピクルスサラダ、シラチャマヨ）」でした。 Today’s dinner was “Thai Style Pork Meatball Sandwich with Chips, Pickled Carrot Salad and Sriracha Mayo” from Hello Fresh. チップスは作らず、サラダにトマト、玉ねぎ、きゅうりを足して少し多めにしました。タイ風ポーくのミートボールは、ポークのミンチに生姜、にんにく、レモングラスのピューレ、タイ風スパイスミックス、パン粉、塩、水、胡椒を混ぜてミートボール状にしてエアフライヤーで焼きました。サラダは人参を薄くスライスし、米酢、オイル、塩、お砂糖を混ぜたものに漬けておき、レタスと混ぜます。シラチャマヨはマヨネーズにシラチャを混ぜるだけ。チャバタは半分にしてトースト。とても美味しかったです！ただ、ミートボールにしなくてもバーガー状にした方が作る手間も減って食べやすい、と思うので、次回はそうしようかと思います。バゲットに挟むならミートボールが良いと思いますが、使うチャバタは四角いパンなので。 We decided not to have the chips and just added some tomatoes, onion & cucumber to the salad. 今日は晴れたり曇ったり、気温はあまり上がらず２０度くらい、というお天気でした。２４度くらいに下がってからも家の中は外より温度が高くてずっと薄着をしていますが、ここ数日、薄着だと寒く感じるようになりました。湿度が７０度から８０度あることもあり（イギリスは夏の間はからっとしていますが秋冬は湿度が高い）暑いのか寒いのかわからない、外出も何を着れば良いのかわからないような気候です。外が暗くなるのもずいぶん早くなってしまって、暑くないのは嬉しいのですが、冬が近づいてるという気がしてさみしくもあります。イギリスには秋らしい秋はあまりなくて、夏から急に冬になる気がします。特に今年はずっと暑かったので、いつもなら秋っぽく感じる８月はまだ夏っぽかったので。しばらく使っていなかったキャンドルも使い始めました。 It was very changeable weather today, sunny one minute and cloudy the next, sunny again, cloudy again. 今日の夕食は、冷凍庫を整理していて見つけた「チキン・ティッカ・マサラ」でした。随分前に夫がキットを使って作ってくれたのが埋もれていました。半年以上経っていましたが、特に味が落ちていることもなくとても美味しかったです。ただ、カリフラワーは温め直している間にすっかりバラバラに細かくなってしまいました。添えたのは、家で漬けたコールラビのピクルスと今日漬けた赤玉ねぎのピクルス。 Today’s dinner was “Chicken Tikka Masala”, which I found in the back of the freezer when I was trying to re-organise the contents.
