Pancake Cannelloni
今日は土曜日なので、夫が夕食を作ってくれました。久しぶりに食べたくなって、夫が得意な「パンケーキ・カネロニ」をリクエスト。パンケーキ（日本で言うクレープ）も焼くのでラザニアより大変なのですが、夫は作り慣れているからと嫌がらずに作ってくれます。パンケーキにラグー（ミートソース）を包んでホワイトソースをかけてオーブンで焼いてあります。日本に住んでいた頃からよく作ってっくれているので、わたしのお友達にも何度か作ってくれたことがあるほどです。パンケーキの食感ととろとろのホワイトソース、パンケーキの中身のラグーが一緒になって、とっても美味しい！ It is Saturday today, so my husband cooked the dinner. 昨日の夕食は、チキン・シュニッツェルとサルサとサツマイモのローストでした。チキンは胸肉に塩胡椒をして、小麦粉と卵をつけた後、パルメジャーのチーズを混ぜたパン粉をつけてオリーブオイルで揚げ焼きにしています。いつもはチキンが分厚いので厚さを半分にするのですが、昨日使ったものはそれほど分厚くなかったので分厚いところだけ切り目を入れて叩いて使ったところいつもより暑かったので揚げ焼きにとても時間がかかりました、やはり薄くする方が早く揚がって良いと思いました。サルサは、トマト、きゅうり、玉ねぎ、赤パプリカ、シャンツァイ、塩胡椒、レモン汁、オリーブオイル。昨日使ったさつまいもは日本のさつまいも、角切りにして塩胡椒とオリーブオイルをまぶしてオーブンでローストしましたが、とても美味しかったです。 Yesterday’s dinner was Chicken schnitzel with salsa and roasted Japanese sweet potato.
