昨日の夕食は、冷凍庫にあった夫が作ってくれたソーセージのラグーを使ったパスタでした。解凍して、フェンネルとチリフレークを足して茹でたパスタと和えただけ、とても美味しかったです！サラダといただきました。 Yesterday’s dinner was Pasta with Sausage Ragu from the freezer, my husband made it about a week ago. I just defrosted it, added some fennel seeds, chilli flakes and chilli oil for a bit of kick and mixed with cooked pasta, it was delicious! We had it with a salad.

昨日は、午後から Ecole de Patisserie Chez Haru の今月のフランス菓子教室がありました。前日の金曜日の午後にインフルエンザの予防接種をしたのですが、多分その副作用だと思います、金曜日の夕方から喉に違和感が出て来てなんとなくしんどい、風邪のひき始めというより良くなって来た頃のような感じがありました。これまで予防接種の副作用は出たことがなかったのですが、多分それだろうなと思いつつ、風邪のひき始めでなければいいなと思っていました。昨日も朝からそんな感じが抜けず、お教室の途中で辛くなるのは困るなと思い直前に風邪薬を飲んだのですが、お陰で途中からしんどさはなくなりました。良かった！ Yesterday, I took this month’s French baking lesson of Ecole de Patisserie Chez Haru in the afternoon. ちょっとしたアキシデントがあり、今日の夕食はスーパーで買った冷凍の餃子でした。イギリスで初めての市販の餃子 Itsu というアジア風のものをあれこれを出しているメーカーのもので、期待していなかったのですが結構美味しかったです！イギリスで見かける餃子はほとんどがお野菜のものかチキンのものですが、ここはポークも出していて今日買ったのはポークのもの。カリカリに美味しく焼けました。日本の餃子ほど味の深みはない気がしますが、美味しくいただきました。添えたのは、テンダーステムブロッコリーと残っていたシュガースナップピーとニンニクの蒸し炒め。 We had a little incident, which forced us to have store-bought frozen gyoza for dinner today.
