今日は Exbury というガーデンに行って来ました。ここは石楠花で有名で、まだ時期的に早いだろうなと思いつつ行ってみたのですが、やはりまだまだ早かったです。石楠花は数えるほどの木しか咲いていませんでしたし、まだ蕾もないものもたくさんありました。見頃は多分4月末か5月に入ってからだと思います。 We went to Exbury Gardens, which is well known for rhododendrons. Sir Harold Hillier Gardens
今日も青空が広がる良いお天気！最高気温18度！これはイギリスでは春というより夏のお天気です。しかも、この先まだ数日このお天気が続くらしい。ただ、最低気温はマイナス1度でした。 It’s been beautiful weather in England! The highest temperature is 18C! In March?! Lyndhurst に行った最初の日の夕食は、街のタイ料理屋さんに予約していました。以前もタイ料理屋さんに行きましたが、ここは以前行ったところとは違うお店で、「Annisa’s Thai Kitchen」というレストラン。オーダーは、パパイヤサラダ（サラダ系はこれしかなかったです）、野菜の揚げ春巻き、チェンマイ風発酵ソーセージ、チキンのマサマンカレー。デザートは普段ないそうですが、たまたま「今日はチョコレートかバニラのアイスがあります」とのことで、チョコレートのアイスをシェアーしました。 We went to a Thai restaurant on our first evening in Lyndhurst. 以前滞在した時にも街の写真をアップしたと思いますが、季節が変わっているので。どこのお家も必ず玄関の辺りや家の前のお庭でお花を育てられていて、とても綺麗でした。薔薇はそろそろ終わりかけていますが、見事な紫陽花をたくさん見かけました。 I think I uploaded some photos of Lyndhurst the last time when we stayed there but it’s a different season now and every house has some lovely flowers at their gates or in their front gardens. Roses are nearly over but we saw some beautiful hydrangeas in many places.
Lyndhurst- 7th Day (Change Of Plan)

今日は、とっても良いお天気。暑そう、と思うくらいの日差しですが、実際には外に出ると案外寒くて、まだ冬のコートが必要です。日本では、もうすぐ桜が綺麗な季節ですね。 It’s so sunny today, I thought it looked hot when I looked outside but it is still quite chilly outside, I still need to wear a winter coat. Spotting Deer
今日は、太陽が燦々と輝いて雲ひとつない青空が広がりました。やっと、という気分。ランチまで夫はお庭で日向ぼっこしていましたが、午後から少し出かけました。１度目は駐車場が見つけられず、２度目は雨で断念した鹿が見られるというスポットに午後から行ってきました。駐車場まで車で15分くらいでしょうか。昨日は日曜日だったので雨がぱらついていてもとても混んでいましたが(英国人は雨なんかに負けません！)、今日は空いていました。気温はやっと１１度なのでコートは必要ですが、コートさえ着ていれば寒くなかったです。 We had a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and a blue sky.
