今日は Exbury というガーデンに行って来ました。ここは石楠花で有名で、まだ時期的に早いだろうなと思いつつ行ってみたのですが、やはりまだまだ早かったです。石楠花は数えるほどの木しか咲いていませんでしたし、まだ蕾もないものもたくさんありました。見頃は多分4月末か5月に入ってからだと思います。

We went to Exbury Gardens, which is well known for rhododendrons. We thought it’s probably too early for rhododendrons and it was, we only saw a few trees with blooms and many of them didn’t even have any buds yet. I guess the good time to see them is probably at the end of April or in May.
