やっと昨日は半日お天気が良かったのですが、また今日は雨、風も強い１日でした。明日の午後から明後日にかけては良くなる予報です。 We finally had some sun yesterday afternoon, but it was rainy again and also very windy today. 今日は気温は少し高め（一日中１０度くらい）でしたが雨でした。明日の昼間は少し太陽が顔を出す予報ですし、土曜日も時々晴れるようです。 It was a little warmer (about 10C all day) but rainy today. Snowdrops In Welford Park
ということで、今年も Welford Park にスノードロップを見に行って来ました。去年は早めに咲いて行ったときにはピークを過ぎていたようでしたが、今年は多分今がピークだと思います。とても綺麗でした。その名の通り、少し離れたところからは雪が積もっているように見えます。 So, we went to Welford Park to see the snowdrops today. Lunch At Five Bells In Welford
引き続き、寒い１日でした。ずいぶん長い間、寒い日が続いています。昨日は久しぶりのとても良いお天気でしたが、お菓子教室があって出かけなかったので良いお天気の恩恵は受けず、今日は曇り。先日チラッと書きましたが、毎年２月にスノードロップが群生しているところを見に行くのを楽しみにしていて、今年も行く予定でした。ベストな時期は毎年違うので様子を見ながらいつ行くか決めるのですが、今年はいつもより少し遅い感じで中旬が良さそうでしたがこのところずっとお天気が悪くて、なかなか行けずにいました。で、月曜日に行こうと思ったら月曜日と火曜日はクローズしていることがわかり、今日になったという次第。昨日の昼間は今日は時々晴れの予報だったのですが、夜チェックしたら曇りに変わっていて、実際今日はほぼ１日（一瞬ちらっと陽がさしましたが）曇りでした。でも、明日からしばらくは雨の予報なので今日行って来ました。 It’s still cold.
