夫に作ったバースデーカード。最近、カードの世界ではステンシルがとても人気で様々なステンシルが出ていて特にレイヤータイプが人気で、わたしも結構持っているのですが、レイヤータイプのステンシルは今回初めて使いました。４枚のステンシルが１セットになっていて、１枚目を使ったらその上に２枚目と重ねて色をつけていくのですが、そんな単純作業が結構難しくて１枚目は少しずれてしまって失敗しました。下の方を濃く、上に行くほど薄めに色をつけて、写真ではわかりにくいのですが風船にはきらきらと光るグルーをのせています。参考にしたのは、こちらのYouTube動画。 This is the birthday card I made for my husband.  In the card making world, stencils are extremely popular now, specially layering stencils, and I do have some, but this was the first time I used a set of layering stencils.  4 layers is one set in this case and you stencil on the…

お隣の奥様のビッグ・バースデーが明日なので、カードとシャンパンをお届けしてきました。カードは、WPLUS9 のこのビデオを参考にして作りました。ベースに使ったペーパーには小鳥と薔薇のスタンプに使ったスタンプインクを使っているので、メインの部分と上手くリンクしています。スタンプのデザインがとても素敵なのでなかなか良い感じに仕上がった、と自己満足しています。 Tomorrow is our next door neighbour’s (wife) big birthday, so I made a card and we hand-delivered it, together with a bottle of Champgane.  The inspiration of this card is this video of WPLUS9.   The base paper is painted with Distress Oxide and Distress Ink that I used for the main stamp so…
