お庭は大きな変化はないのですが、涼しく（寒く？）なってからフューシャのお花が大きくなりました。夏の間はずっと小さなお花しかつけていなかったのですが、暑すぎたのでしょうね。 No big change in our garden, but I noticed that the fuchsia flowers became much larger and more noticeable from far away. 育てているミニトマト、２つが赤くなったので夫と１つずつ食べました。サラダにしたかったのですが２つだと他のトマトと混ざってわからなくなるので、そのままパクっと。他にもたくさんなってきているのですが、赤くなる時期がずれるのでサラダにできるほどにはとれないですね。冷蔵庫で短期間なら保存出来るでしょうから、ためるべき？ Two of the mini tomatoes we are growing became red, so my husband and I had one each. トマトが色づいてきました、やっぱりミニトマトでした。いつ収穫するのが良いのかな？１房全体に色がついてからかな、と思っていますが。大きくなって、いただいて来たときの倍以上の高さ。 A couple of tomatoes started to colour, they are mini tomatoes. 初めて見つけたラズベリー。まだ食べるのは早いです。ラズベリーはあまりないので食べられるほどには実がならないと思います。ブラックベリーは結構あるようですが、実がなるのはまだ先の様子。 These are the first raspberries I found in our garden, still too early to eat. I don’t think we have much raspberries. Growing Tomatoes
今日はまた、すごい風が吹いています。イギリスに来てから風が強い日が多いような気がします。台風みたい。こんな日はハーブの鉢も倒れてしまうので風が当たりにくい所に置いて時々チェックしなくてはいけません。 It’s very windy today, almost like a typhoon. I feel we’ve had many windy days since we moved to the UK.
