少し前に作ったアルコールインクの背景を使って、カードを２枚作りました。お魚はちょっと子供っぽすぎる気がしていますが、背景はこうして使うとなかなか効果的で気に入っています。 I made a couple of cards using the backgrounds I created with alcohol ink last week. I’m not sure about the fish, they seem a little too cute… but I do love the backgrounds, I think they are very effective.

アップし忘れていましたが、昨日はプラザシンガプーラに用があったので、ついでにプラザシンガプーラの「Namnam」で軽くランチをしました。夫は、ここのバーンミーが大好き。このサクッとしたベトナムのフランスパンが好きなようです。NamNamでは、いつも揚げ春巻き（昨日は間違えてベジタリアンバージョンをオーダーしましたが、いつもはエビ入りのもの）とバーンミー（昨日はチキンと卵とフロス、にしましたが、フロスは抜きでお願いし、卵はわたしは外します、臭みがあって食べられない。。。）とチキンオフォーかスパイシーポークボールのヌードル。昨日はスパイシーポークボールのヌードルにしましたが、いつもより随分チリが多くてヒーヒー（笑）。結構チリは避けたのですが、それでも辛かった！（写真はインスタグラムにアップしたもの。） I forgot to upload the lunch we had yesterday. Alcohol Ink Background
少し前からカード作りの世界でアルコールインクを特殊なペーパー（Yupoという素材で正確には紙ではないのですが）にのせてアルコールと混ぜて背景に使うというテクニックをよく見かけるようになりました。アルコールインクは随分前によく使われていたのですがしばらくあまり見かけず、また見かけるようになった素材です。アルコールインクのオーダーが届いたので、昨日の夜トライしてみました。 Recently, making backgrounds with alcohol ink on Yupo paper has been very popular in card making world. Alcohol ink was popular some years ago but seems to have come back. 今日は、久しぶりな感じがするプロビドールのしょうこさんのチーズ教室でした。多分、先月は春休みでお休みだったのだと思います。今月のテーマは「イタリアとスペインの個性派チーズ」。 I attended Providore‘s Cheese Appreciation Class (by Shoko) this morning.
