Afternoon Tea At Cliveden House
夫の弟夫婦のお誕生日が両方とももうすぐなので、少し早いお誕生日のお祝いということで、Cliveden House でランチタイムにアフタヌーンティーをしました。イギリスのアフタヌーンティーの中では、ここが一番好みです。お部屋の雰囲気に特別感があるのと、最初にいただく塩味系のものが結構美味しい、一度日曜日に行ったらレストランはサンデーランチに使われていて、アフタヌーンティーはロビーがあるところでサーブされてあまり雰囲気が好みではなかったので、日曜日には行かないように気をつけることにしています。 The birthdays of both my husband’s younger brother’s and his wife’s are coming soon so we celebrated them at an afternoon tea at Cliveden House today. Lunch At Tinwood Vinyard
今日も良いお天気で、気温は２２、３度、風が吹くと長袖でなくては寒いですが、風が吹かなければちょうど良い、そんなお天気です。今日は、毎年この時期に行くのを楽しみにしている Tinwood Vinyard でランチをしました。小さなガラスのジャーや小さな器に入っているものから欲しいものを選んでワイン箱に入れてお支払いしてから、ベンチでピクニック感覚でいただくランチで、特別美味しいということではないのですが普通に美味しく、葡萄畑を見ながらというロケーションに特別感があるので外の日陰で気持ちよく座れるこの時期に行くのが最適。５月からいつ行けるかとお天気と睨めっこをしていましたがずっと寒すぎたり雨だったり暑すぎたりで、やっと行くことが出来ました。葡萄畑ツアー込みでなくては予約は出来ないのですが、これまで座れなかったことはないので、少なくとも平日は大丈夫ではないかと思います。夏の間にもう１度くらい行けるでしょうか。 It was nice weather again, about 22C or 23C.
