今日は午後から雨の予報でしたが、少し降っただけでまた良いお天気になりました、でも、寒いです！ジャケットを着て出ても寒くて。。。最近、何を着て出れば良いのかわかりません、ダウンを着ようかと思うくらい寒いのですが、５月中旬にもなってダウンもどうだろうと。とにかく、何を着ても暑くなったり寒くなったり。やれ、やれ。

The forecast said it was going to rain in the afternoon, but it rained only just a little then stopped and became sunny again.  However, it is very cold!  Even with a jacket on I felt very cold.  Recently I really don’t know what to wear, I thought about wearing a down coat but thought it seems excessive for this time of year but I regretted my decision when I was walking in Chichester.

今日の夕食は、アメリカで人気のレシピで以前から気になっていた「Marry Me Chicken」（結婚してと言われるチキン）でした。色々なバージョンがあるようですが、どれもサンドライトマトとクリームが入るようです。今日は、このレシピを参考にしましたが、チキンは腿肉を使い、玉ねぎのみじん切りを足しました。レシピには量が書かれていないので、全て適当です。ライスにしようかポテトにしようかパスタにしようか迷った結果、パスタにしました。とても美味しかったです！尤も、クリームを足せば大抵美味しくはなるんですよね。また、作ろうと思うレシピでした。

Today’s dinner was “Marry Me Chicken”, which seems very popular in the US at the moment and I’ve been wanting to try.  There seem to be different versions but they all seem to have sun dried tomatoes and cream.  I sort of followed this recipe except that I used chicken thighs and added chopped onion.  The recipe doesn’t specify any quantity of each ingredient so I just estimated them all.  I wasn’t sure if I wanted rice, potato or pasta to have it with and in the end I decided on pasta.  It was very tasty.  Having said that most dishes taste good when you add cream, I must say.  We’ll cook it again.
