3日目、市場でお買いもののあと、お友達のお家で軽いランチを頂きました。ハムやサラミのお店で買ったハンドスライスの生ハムとフォカッチャ、お家にあったゴルゴンゾーラチーズ、市場で買ったプンタレッレという日本やイギリスでは見ないお野菜(チコリの一種)にドレッシング(ニンニク、バジル、サンドライトマト、バルサミコ酢、オリーブオイル、ケイパー、塩胡椒)、ブドウやみかん。生ハムは深みがある美味しさ、サラダはシャキシャキとフレッシュ、どれもとても美味しかったです。 On the 3rd day, after doing a little shopping we went to our friend’s place and had a light lunch. 今回、タオルミーナには5泊したのですが、見るところといえばギリシャ劇場と小さな教会がいくつかあるくらいで、街も小さいのでお店の数も見るものもそれほどないので、ちょっと長過ぎたように感じました。前回滞在したのが9年前で、景色が素晴らしかったことくらいしか覚えていなくて、余り移動はしたくないし、ゆっくりしたいと思い5泊しましたが、レンタカーなしで辺りをウロウロ出来ない場合、4泊、なんなら3泊でも良かったかもしれません。ただ、3泊だとお天気が悪い日があるとちょっと物足らないかなとも思います。 We stayed in Taormina for 5 nights this time because I didn’t want to move to another place and wanted it to be a relaxing stay, but we felt 5 nights was a little too long when we didn’t have a car so we could drive around the area.
