3日目の夜は、フォカッチャのサンドイッチ屋さん（All’Antico Vinaio)でテイクアウトしました。前日にホテルのコンシエージュにパニーニのようなものを食べられるところはないか聞いてみた時に教えていただいた人気のお店ですが、ホテルから歩いて20分かかるということで前日はホテルで食べたのでしたが、この日は行ってみることにしました。

On the 3rd day in Rome we went to a popular focaccia sandwich shop (All’Antico Vinaio) to get sandwiches for our evening meal as we didn’t feel like sitting in a proper restaurant. When we asked the hotel concierge if there is a cafe nearby, where we can just have panini type of things in the evening he told us about this place but we ended up eating at the hotel as we didn’t feel like walking the 20 minutes it takes to get there.

夫はポルケッタやンドゥヤなどのインフェルノ、わたしは生ハムゆっくりブラッタチーズやトマト、バジルソースのイタリアーノ。パンはぱ暖かくパリッとしていて具もたっぷり、美味しかったです。

My husband had Inferno, which had porchetta, nduja etc. I had Italians, which had cured ham, burrata cheese, tomato, basil etc. they were both excellent (and quite large), full of fillings in warm crispy focaccia.

とても美味しかったので、昨日の夜もここでイタリアーノを買って夫とシャアしました、半分で充分でした。

As it was so good we went back again last night and shared an Italian. Half per person was enough.
