お庭は大きな変化はないのですが、涼しく（寒く？）なってからフューシャのお花が大きくなりました。夏の間はずっと小さなお花しかつけていなかったのですが、暑すぎたのでしょうね。

No big change in our garden, but I noticed that the fuchsia flowers became much larger and more noticeable from far away.  While it was hot they were tiny, I guess it was too hot for them.

（トマトがすごく斜めっていて倒れそうです。少し前に強風が吹いた時に倒れたときに、歪んでしまったみたいです。）

（The tomato plant is leaning a lot, I hope it won’t fall on its side.  When we had a very windy day, it fell on its side and this happened.)

 

 

お友達ご夫婦からいただいたジャパニーズ・アネモネ、背も高くなって蕾も大きくなりました。

The Japanese anemone that our friends gave us grown taller and the buds are getting quite a lot bigger.

クレマチスも元気にまだ咲いています、とっても大きなお花。１株だけなのが残念。

Clematis is also beautifully open.  It’s a shame there is only one plant.

 

薔薇（ティーローズ）も暑い間は元気がなかったのですが、ずいぶんまた背も伸びて元気そうです。これもまた、１株しかないのが残念。

Tea roses are also looking not very well during the hot time but looking better now and growing taller again.  Again there is only 1 plant so not a lot of flowers.

 

 

 

 

このところまたお天気が良いので、トマトも少しずつ赤くなっています。先日、６つ収穫してサラダにつかいました。

It’s been nice and sunny recently and the tomatoes are getting red again.  We picked 6 little ones the other day and used them for a salad.

 

とっくに連絡があるはずのガーデナーからは音沙汰なく、先日お友達ご夫婦がいらしたときにお嬢さんがガーデンデザーナーなのでコンタクトをとってくださるとおっしゃっていたのですがその話もあちらのご都合が悪くボツになり、何の進歩もないままです。多分、来年春に探せたいお花はそろそろ植えないといけないと思うのですよね。他のガーデンデザイナーさんと夫がコンタクトを取ってくれているので、近いうちに進歩があると良いのですが。

There has been no contact from the gardener who was supposed to contact us late August.  The friends who came the other day told us their daughter can work on our garden as she is a garden designer but that didn’t work out, so there hasn’t been anything done to our garden.  I think we need to plant the bulbs etc very soon before it gets cold if we want to have flowers next spring.  My husband is contacting another garden designer, so hopefully we’ll have some progress before too long.
