ディナーのところで書きましたが、昨日はチチェスターシアターで「The Girl On The Train（ガール・オン・ザ・トレイン）」というお芝居を見て来ました。同名の推理小説を元にしたお芝居で映画化もされていました。わたしは本を読んでいませんし映画も見ていないので比べるものがないこともあるかと思いますが、最後まで飽きずに見ました。ステージがとても巧妙に作られているのが印象的です。主人公の女性が常に叫んでいるのだけが気になりました。

As I wrote in my previous post, we went to see a play, “The Girl On The Train” at Chichester Festival Theatre yesterday.  The play is based on the novel “The Girl On The Train” and it was also made into a film some years ago but neither of us have read the book or watched the film so we had nothing to compare to but we did thoroughly enjoy it eight up until the end.  The staging was very clever.  The only thing was we thought the main character seemed to be shouting all the time, which wasn’t really necessary.
