昨日の夕食は、ロンドンの和食の食材などを扱っているお店から取り寄せた、汁なし担々麺でした。キットになっていて冷凍で届くので、麺を茹でて味付けされたミンチとソースはお茹で戻してトッピングは電子レンジでチン。シャンツァイとおネギを足していただきました。美味しいのですがすごく辛いのでソースを少し残してピーナッツバターを足したところ、丁度良いからさで美味しかったです。麺はもそっとしてちょっと違うな〜、と思いますが仕方ないですね。
Our evening meal yesterday was Dan Dan Noodles (without soup) that I ordered from a Japanese/Asian grocery shop in London. It comes frozen, so you just cook the noodles in boiling water, defrost and warm up the sauce & minced meat (cooked with sauce) in boiling water and microwave the topping, we just added some coriander leaves and green onions. When we had it last time it was a little too spicy for us so this time we left out a little of the sauce and added some peanut butter which made it just the right level of spiciness for us. The noodles are a bit starchy and not quite right but it tasted delicious.
