Vegetable Curry

今日の夕食は、野菜カレーでした。今日のお野菜は、玉ねぎ、人参、ポテト、かぼちゃ、赤パプリカ、黄パプリカ。

Today’s dinner was Vegetable curry.  Today’s vegetables were onion, carrot, potato, Japanese kabocha pumpkin, red & yellow pepper.

 

 

 

 

来週から長めの一時帰国をします。久しぶりに夫が一人の日がたくさんあるので少し前から冷凍できるものは多めに作っては冷凍していたのですが、某事情によりチリコンカーニニも野菜カレーも廃棄処分になってしまったので作り直しでした。

I’m going to Japan soon for longer than usual.  My husband cooks on weekends but I don’t think he likes to cook during the week after work.  Although he will join me in the middle of my time in Japan, he will still have quite a few days at home without me so I’ve been trying to cook meals that I can freeze, but some incident happened with our freezer and I had to throw away Chilli Con Carne and Vegetable curry, so I had to cook them again.

冷凍できるもの、煮込みなどおお肉料理がほとんどで野菜不足になるのではと心配です。夫は週末は作りますが平日は作らないので。スープ数種類、チキンの煮込み、野菜カレー、チリコンカーニ、ビーフシチュー、パスタソース。そんなものかな。。。

Meals that can freeze are mostly some sort of meat stew, other than soup.  A few kinds of soup, chicken casserole, vegetable curry, chilli con carne, beef stew, ragu pasta sauce… not a lot of vegetables…
