クルーズでの最後の夜のディナーは、イタリアン（マンフレディズ）でいただきました。
We had our final shipboard dinner at Manfredi’s, the ship’s Italian restaurant.
夫の前菜は、どこでも食べているカプレーゼ。
My husband had Caprese to start, which he seems to order in every Italian restaurant we go to.
わたしは前菜類の盛り合わせのようなもの。
I had a mixture of antipasto.
夫のメインは、アニョロッティ。美味しかったようでした。ただ、ソースは多すぎたようでしたが。
My husband followed with Agnolotti, which he seems to have enjoyed although he thought there was too much sauce.
フレッシュのスパゲティー、ボロネーゼソース。フレッシュスパゲティーは実はあまり好みの食感ではないので普通に乾麺でとお願いしようかと思ったのですがしなかったら、やっぱり微妙でした。個人的な好みだとは思いますが、スパゲティーは乾麺の方が食感があって美味しいと思います。ソースは味は良かったのですが、フィッシングみたいにスパゲティーをソースから探し出すのが大変でした。
I ordered “Homemade Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce”. I did think about asking them to use dried spaghetti instead of handmade pasta because I don’t find the latter very enjoyable, I prefer more texture. I didn’t feel the texture of this pasta was very enjoyable. The sauce tasted fine but there was so much of it, I had to try very hard to fish out the spaghetti.
夫のデザートは、チョコレートケーキ。
My husband ordered Chocolate cake for the dessert.
わたしは、バナナのシャーベット。微かにバナナのような香りがしましたが、分かりにくかったです。
I ordered Banana Sorbet, which had a very subtle banana flavour but not very much of it.
