今日は、夕方までとても良いお天気だったので、パティオでお茶をしました。が、パティオに座っているとついつい雑草や花殻が気になってしまい、お茶が終わってすぐにお庭仕事に突入。１時間半くらいしたでしょうか。今日ガーデナーさんに雑草抜きを頼んでいたのですが途中までしかされていず、あとはほったらかしで、されなかった方に雑草が多かったので我慢できずすることになってしまいました。今の時期、ペチュニアがとても綺麗に咲いているのですが、この時期になるとたくさんお花が咲くだけにたくさん花殻も出来て、毎日花殻積みをしていても結構時間がかかります。
It was nice and sunny all day until evening, so we had tea on the patio in the afternoon. However, as soon as I sit down at the patio, I see the dead flower heads and I cannot stand leaving them so end up doing dead-heading. Also we asked our gardener to weed today, but he only did about 1/3 of the garden so I had to do the rest, the parts that he didn’t do had much more weeds! I guess I did gardening for an hour and a half or so. This time of year, the petunias are looking very pretty but as there are so many of them flowering a lot of them also die and it takes quite a while to do dead-heading even though I do that almost every day.
今日の夕食は、「おうちピクニック」をお庭のパティオでする予定でしたが、は夕方７時から９時まで一時期雨（確率３０％くらい）という予報だったので、早めに夕食をすることに。丁度食べ終わった７時ごろにぱらぱらっと来たので慌てて引き上げたのですが、ぱらぱらっとしただけでした。
Our evening meal today was “Picnic At Home” in the garden. However, from the weather forecast, rain was expected between 7:00pm and 9:00pm so we decided to start the meal early. Just when we were finishing eating, which was about 7:00pm, it started to rain so we rushed inside. There wasn’t much rain, though, just for a couple of minutes and then it stopped!
サラミ類３種類、チョリソ、コーニション、オリーブ、きゅうり、トマト、カレーパフ、アーモンドのモロッコスパイス風味、チーズを詰めたチリペッパー、モロッコ風フムス、チーズ（ラスティック）。飲み物は、ピンク・シャンパン（ハーフボトル）。
Three kinds of salami, chorizo, cornichon, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, curry puffs, almond (moroccan spice), chilli pepper stuffed with cheese, moroccan hummus, cheese (le Rustique). We had a half bottle of pink champagne to accompany it.
