今日は久しぶりに真っ青な空が広がるとても良いお天気だったので、メンバーになっている「West Dean Gardens」に行って来ました。我が家から車で３０分程度。まだまだ真冬なのであまり咲いているお花はありませんが、スノードロップとクロッカスとバターカップが咲き始めていました。２週間先くらいに行けばたくさん咲いているのではないかと思います。今回は、羊ちゃんも見れました。
We had a beautifully sunny day today, it’s been a while since we had such a lovely day, so we went to “West Dean Gardens” and walked a little. It’s about 30 minutes by car from us. It is still deep in winter so not a lot of plants to see, but snowdrops, crocuses & buttercups were starting to bloom, I think we’ll see a lot of them in a couple of weeks. We were also able to see the sheep this time.
写真では見にくいのですが、スノードロップがこの辺りには固まって咲いていて肉眼では良く見えてきれいでした。

３キロ弱（３０分暗い）歩いたあと、お決まりの、カフェでのお茶とケーキ。今日は、キャロットケーキをシェアーしました。しっとり、美味しかったです。でも、結構甘いのでアイシングはいらないな。
We walked a little less than 3km (about 30 minutes), then, as always, we had tea and cake in the cafe. We shared a piece of carrot cake. It was nice and moist but sweet enough without the icing so I would have preferred it without icing.
