今日は良いお天気だったので、ランチの後、ちょっと歩きたいね、ということでウェスト・ディーン・ガーデンズに行ってきました。眩しいお天気で、風が強かったので日傘をさしているのがちょっと大変でしたが、お散歩にちょうど良い気温で気持ちが良かったです。３０分くらい歩いて、お茶とケーキをいただいてから戻りました。
It was a lovely day today so we felt like walking a little after lunch and went to West Dean Gardens. It was very sunny and bright although also very windy so it was hard for me to be holding my parasol up, but the temperature was just right for a little walk. We walked about 30 minutes, then enjoyed tea & cake (we shared a carrot cake) before coming home.
少し離れたところから見ると白い石のように見えましたが、マッシュルームでした！
We thought the white things everywhere were little white stones but they were mushrooms!
