昨夜は親しいお友達ご夫婦とキャッチアップを兼ねて夕食をご一緒しました。場所は、お友達は初めてでしたがわたしたちは２度ほど行ったことがあるタパスレストランの「Andalucia」、わたしたちからもお友達ご夫婦からも車で３０分くらいのところにあります。お友達ご夫婦もわたしたちもそれぞれに１組５品ずつオーダーして、食べられるものはシェアーしようということにしました。
We had dinner to catch up with our good friends at “Andalucia” in Ferring. We’d been there twice before but our friends hadn’t, it’s about 30 minutes from us
お友達の５品は、ハモン（パン付き）、トーストにトマトとアンチョビをのせたもの、オレンジ、アンディーブ、アーモンドのサラダ、海老、茄子のグラタン風のもの。
The 5 items our friends ordered – Spanish Ham, Tomato` & Anchovy on Toast, Orange, Endive & Almond Salad, Prawns, and Aubergine Gratin.
わたしたちがオーダーした５品は、ハム入りのコロッケ（のはずでしたが、クリームコロッケと間違われていたようでした）、デーツにチョリソを詰めてベーコンで巻いてパン粉をつけて揚げたもの、ポテトのトマトソース載せ、地中海のお野菜のグリル、パンコントマテ。
We ordered Croquet With Ham (well, we couldn’t find ham, it was very creamy, they probably got us the wrong croquet), Date filled with chorizo, wrapped with bacon then breaded and deep fried, Potato with tomato sauce, Grilled Mediterranean vegetables, and Pan con tomate.
もうちょっと何か摘みたい、ということで、チーズボードをシェアー。ほとんどがハードチーズで１つだけブルーチーズ。
As we wanted another little something we shared a Cheese Board, they were mostly hard cheese with just one blue one.
デザートは、わたしと夫はアーモンドのセミフレッドをオーダー、お友達ご夫婦はスペインのクレームブリュレのようなのをオーダーされました（写真を撮り忘れました、下の写真の奥に微かに写っています、これはあまり美味しくなかったようでした）。
For dessert my husband and I shared Almond Semifredo, which was very nice. Our friends had something like a Spanish version of Creme Brulee but they didn’t enjoy it (I forgot to take a photo but you can see it at the left back vaguely).
飲み物は、全部で赤ワイン４杯、モクテル２杯、ビール１杯、ガス入りお水１本。お会計は１組大体１００ポンド（２１０００円）でした。デザートも食べて飲み物もいつもより多めかなという感じだったので、イギリスではそう高いとは言えないお値段だと思います。量的には少なめだとは思いますが、少しずつあれこれ食べているうちに結構お腹が膨れましたし、どれも美味しくいただき、キャッチアップも出来て楽しい時間でした。
For drinks, in total, we had 4 red wine, 2 Mocktails, 1 beer, 1 bottle of sparkling water and the bill was about £100 per couple. We had dessert as well and maybe ordered a little more wine than usual so it’s not too bad. I think the quantities were on the small side but we did get full with having a little bit of many things and they were mostly enjoyable. We had fun catching up, too.
わたしたちはもう直ぐ旅行で1ヶ月留守にするので、戻ってきたらまた集まりましょう、と、もう次回の日程も決めました。次回も楽しみです！
We are going to be away for a month soon but we’ve already set up a date for dinner with them after we get back so we’ll look forward to that.
