久しぶりにお目にかかるお友達とランチをご一緒しました。この方とは、大抵タングリンモールのタイ料理。お互いにとって便利の良い場所にあって、２人ともここのオリーブライスと空芯菜のチリとガーリック炒めが大好きなので。いつも必ずこの２品をオーダーし、もう１品はそのときによって。今日は、ミンチのチキンのサラダ（ラーブ）。おいしくいただきました。
I had lunch with a friend I hadn’t seen for a little while. We almost always go to the Thai restaurant in Tanglin Mall because it’s in a convenient location for both of us and we both love their olive rice and stir-fried morning glory. We always order these 2 items and choose one more item of something or other.
積もる話しがありすぎて、３時間ずっと話していても足りませんでした（笑）。最近、周りのお友達でご両親どちらかのことでしんどい思いをされている方が多く、自分も気持ちがとても暗い辛い時期を２年間過ごしたのでお気持ちがとてもよくわかり、かといって何かできるわけでもないのが歯がゆく感じます。
We had so much to catch up, we didn’t stop talking for 3 hours and more! There are so many friends who are having a difficult time because one of their parents isn’t well. I know what it’s like as I also have gone through such time for 2 years and feel for them, but there isn’t much I can do for them, I wish there were.
