今日は雲ひとつない良いお天気になりました。気温も１８度まで上がっています。せっかくの良いお天気なので、近くの森に少しだけ歩きに出かけました。車で１０分ほど走ったところに駐車場があります。何があるということではなく木々があるだけですが、森林浴、という言葉がぴったり。木々の陰のお陰で涼しくて、歩いても暑くならず良かったです。
It’s a beautiful day today, not a cloud in the sky! The temperature has gone up to 18C, which is the highest this year around here. As it’s such a lovely day we went out for a little walk in the woods, which are about 10 minutes’ drive from our house. Not that there is anything to see other than the trees, but it was lovely to walk in, the trees give you lovely shade so it wasn’t too hot or too cold.
戻ってきて、夫は今年初めてショートパンツを履いて、お庭で日向ぼっこ（日差しが強いのでパラソルの下ですが）しながら本を読んでいます。
My husband is “getting his knees brown” in the garden now, wearing his shorts for the first time this year.
