今日も寒いけれど良いお天気で、さっきお庭側のドアを開けたらとってもきれいな満月が出ていました。只今の気温、２度。しばらく寒い日々のようです。
It was a cold but beautiful day and when I opened the kitchen door on the back garden side, I saw the beautiful full moon. It’s now 2C and looks like it’ll be cold for quite a few days.
今日の夕食は、わたしたちにしてはちょっと久しぶりなチーズフォンデューでした。普段はチーズフォンデューは金曜日やちょっと特別な日にするのですが、今日は月曜日。美味しいパンが買えたので。夫は「金曜日のよう気がして仕方ない。」と言いながら食べていました。いつものようにサラミ類や茹でた新じゃがや茹でた人参、たっぷりのサラダと一緒に。
Today’s dinner was Cheese Fondue, we hadn’t had it for a little while. We usually have this on Fridays or on a little special day but it’s Monday today – because we were able to get good baguette. My husband kept saying it felt like a Friday when we were having it. As always, we had various salamis, cornichon, boiled new potatoes & carrots plus a large salad.
