Pub Lunch On Our Way To Devon

On our way from home to Gidleigh Park, we stopped for lunch at “The Brewers Arms” near Dorchester.

I wonder if that’s how it is everywhere, but here, when one thing becomes popular you find it in almost every pub and every restaurant, and the moment it’s arancini. I must say I’m fed up seeing it on every menu but I ended up ordering it because I couldn’t find anything else I felt like eating on the menu (being Christmas Eve the menu was pretty small) – chorizo arancini – from the starters. Although it says “chorizo arancini” I found 2 bits (a thin slice cut in 4) in each arancini. I felt like something else so had a bag of crisps after these.

My husband had Mac & Cheese. He said it was so-so.
