今日は、お昼前にペットワースの美容院でカットをしていただいたので、終わってから Cowdray Farm Shop の Cafeでランチをしました。ランチの写真は撮り忘れましたが、サラミとロケットのチャパタサンドとBLTトーストサンドを夫と半分ずつしました。写真の右側にある建物がカフェ。
I had my hair cut at a hair salon in Petworth so we went to Cowdray Farm Shop Cafe for lunch. I forgot to take a photo but we shared Salami & Rocket Ciabatta sandwichand BLT Toast Sandwich. The building on the right is the cafe.
今日も寒いですが、雲一つない青空が広がる良いお天気なので、近くを歩くことにしました。ポロ用グランドがあって、その周りをぐるっと歩いて丁度３０分くらいでした。今日は車の中に日傘を置いて歩いてしまったので短めに済ませましたが（日差しがきつくて）、もう少し先に川沿いを歩くコースもあったので次回はそちらに歩いてみようと思います。長い間（去年の夏くらいから）常に雨がよく降っていたのでどこに行っても田舎は泥濘んでいて歩くと靴がドロドロになりますし歩きにくかったのですが、最近やっと水溜まりのないところを歩けるようになっています。
It’s still quite cold but such a beautiful day with the blue sky without any cloud so we had a walk near the cafe, there is a cricket lawn and we just walked around it, it was just about 30 minutes (2km). Since summer last year it had been raining so often that wherever you go it was muddy and wasn’t nice to walk trying to avoid the muddy puddles or muddy area but finally it’s been dry for a while that we don’t have to worry about getting our shoes muddy.
