昨日は久しぶりに少し雨が降りましたが、今日はまた良いお天気です。この先も２週間ほとんどずっと良いお天気が続く予報になっています。去年はずっと雨ばかりだったような気がしますが、今年は随分と良いお天気が続いていて、すごく暑いわけでもないく気持ちの良い気候で嬉しい限りです。
It rained some yesterday but it’s back to great weather today and it’s forecast to be good for most of the next two weeks. I feel it rained so much all year round last year but it’s been so nice this year from early last month. It’s also lovely that it hasn’t got too hot eithter.
今日は、チチェスターの美容院に行って戻って来てから少しお庭仕事をしただけ、すごく暑いわけではないですがカンカン照りなのでお庭仕事には暑いんですよね。
We sent to Chichester for my hair appointment in the afternoon today, then did some gardening when we got back. Even though I wrote ‘not too hot’, it is very hot to do gardening as the sun is so strong so I didn’t do it for long.
夕食は、Hello Fresh の「Peri Peri Chicken Fajita Style Tacos with Cheese and Sweet Chilli Mayo」（ペリペリチキン・ファヒータ風タコス、チーズとスィート・チリ・マヨ）でした。チキンの大きな角切りと玉ねぎとパプリカの太めの千切りを炒めてペリペリ・シーズニングとニンニクを加えて１分炒め、トルティーヤを電子レンジで温めたものにマヨネーズとスィート・チリ・ソースを混ぜたものを塗って、ミックスサラダ菜をのせ、チキンと玉ねぎとパプリカを炒めたものをのせ、チェダーチーズのシュレッドしたものをのせ（わたしはなし）、いただくタコス風のものです。それなりに美味しかったですが、個人的にはスィート・チリ・マヨはない方がメキシコ風の味付けになって良さそうな気がします。
Today’s dinner was “Peri Peri Chicken Fajita Style Tacos with Cheese and Sweet Chilli Mayo” from Hello Fresh. You stir-fry chopped chicken, sliced onion and red pepper until the chicken is cooked, then add garlic and Peri Peri Seasoning for about a minute. You warm the tortillas up in the microwave, spread them with a mixture of sweet chilli sauce and mayonnaise, put on some mixed leaves, the mixture of chicken, onion & pepper, some shredded cheddar cheese (not on mine) and eat it like tacos. It was quite nice but personally I feel it’s nicer without the chilli mayo sauce.
