今日は、ランチを兼ねて植物を見に久しぶりに大きなガーデンセンターに行って来ました。
We went to a large garden centre to browse what they have as well as having lunch today.
ランチは、夫はカプレーゼ・パニーニ。下半分のパンがソースでべたっとして、今ひとつだったみたいです。そして、この量にいつも驚きます。
My husband had Caprese Panini. He said it wasn’t great as the bottom part of the bread was soggy. The quantity always shocks me!
わたしは、ロースト野菜とモロッコ風フムス。ちょっと塩辛いところもありましたが、割と美味しかったです。
I had a roasted vegetable salad with Moroccan Hummus. Some parts were a little too salty but it was quite tasty.
ぶらぶらと植物を見て、コスモスの苗を買って来ました。去年はフロントガーデンに植えてみたらあまり上手く育たなかったんですよね。なので、今年は一昨年までのようにまたバックガーデンに植えてみようと思います。６つの苗のうち、だいたい２本くらいが上手く育つ感じです。
We browsed the plants and bought a set of 6 small cosmos plants. Last year we planted them in the front garden for the first time and they didn’t grow very well, so this year we’ll plant them in the back garden like we used to. Usually out of 6 just 2 or 3 grow well.
