２週間に１度お花を届けていただく契約をしているお花屋さんに、今週は追加でピオニーをオーダーしました。少し前にも１度オーダーしましたが、そのときよりも今回はお花が開いているので全部綺麗に開きそうです（前回は６つくらい咲かなかった）。前回のピオニーよりも色が薄いタイプをオーダーしました。プリムローズ、という種類。とっても良い香りがしています。食事の時だけ、ダイニングテーブルに移動させました。
We ordered some peonies from the florist in London that we use for regular flower deliveries (once every fortnight) this week. We’ve ordered peonies from them once before a few weeks ago, but this time they are more open so hopefully they’ll all open nicely. I chose a lighter coloured type – these are called Primrose Peonies. They have a beautiful fragrance. We put them on the dining table when we had dinner tonight.
ピオニーの季節は短かいので、出回っているうちに何度か楽しみたいと思っています。
The season of peonies is very short, so I would like to enjoy them while we can.
