今朝（起きた時にはもう止んでいましたが）、イギリスにしてはちょっと久しぶりに雨が降りましたが、午後から晴れました。ずっと晴れだとお庭の水撒きが大変なので、たまには雨も良いものです。理想は夜中にどっと降って朝晴れてくれることですが、なかなかそう思い通りのお天気にはならない（笑）。でも、このところ、やっとイギリスもお天気が良くて嬉しいです。やっと、半袖を着れる気候が続いています。ただ、あちらこちらで排他的な暴動が起こっているのが心配です。
It hasn’t rained for quite a few days here, but it rained this morning (though when I woke up it had already stopped) and got sunny in the afternoon. It is sometimes good to have rain so we don’t have to water the plants. It would be ideal if it rained during the night and then got sunny in the morning, but of course you seldom get such weather. It is great that we’ve been finally having better weather recently, it brightens our mood and we are finally able to wear summer clothes. However the rioting against immigrants in some towns is quite worrying.
今日の夕食は、冷凍庫を漁って以前夫が作ってくれたイタリアンソーセージのパスタソースを発見したので、ショートパスタと和えることにしました。
I looked in the freezer and found a pack of Italian Sausage Pasta Sauce that my husband cooked a little while ago so we decided to use it with short pasta for today’s evening meal.
